I rarely post on this subject, but…

The current US administration is patting themselves on their back for “trillions” in spending cuts.
They are actually cuts in future spending increases.
That’s the same as me going to a car mall with the Toyota dealership next to the BMW one. Let’s say I can only afford a Camry.
Though I’d really fantasize about driving away with a BMW M5.
So I come home with a new Camry and tell my wife I saved $60,000 on a $25,000 car.
How you ask?
Well, I could have bought the M5, but because I didn’t, I saved $60,000.
That is in fact how the US government tells their tales.
It is really disappointing.
